The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (First Church).

Lecturer: Paul Stark Seeley; introduced by Ernest L. Buchanan, who said:—

Christian Science is a practical, provable, every-day-of-the-week religion, which is assisting an unnumbered host of people throughout the world to solve in a satisfactory manner the problems and trials which seem to beset human existence. I have had ample proof of its healing efficacy in my own experience; for some years ago I was healed of a serious internal trouble, after other means had failed. One's gratitude is not alone for physical healing, however wonderful it may have been, but also for the true knowledge about God and man which Christian Science reveals. As this light of spiritual understanding dawns upon our thought, we are able to discern and follow, in some degree, the pathe which leads to harmony, to holiness, and to peace.
