One can hardly find words to express one's love and gratitude for Christian Science. It was through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, that I found the true understanding of God, the true understanding of the Christ, and gained a great love for Jesus, the Way-shower. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." Jesus laid down his life for his friends; Mrs. Eddy laid down her life for her friends. And to-day many practitioners and Christian Scientists may be found doing the same.
I am so grateful that I, who was a Jewess, have found "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding," which is revealed through the study of the Bible as explained in Science and Health. Although I did not turn to Christian Science for physical healing, while reading its literature I was healed of eye trouble. I had been able to read but a few lines at a time; now I am able to read as much as I please without discomfort. I do not know when this healing came. With the loving aid of a practitioner I was healed of rheumatism in the arms, which had troubled me for many years. I have been freed from sore throat, tonsil trouble, and colds from which I suffered each winter.
It is with deep gratitude that I write this testimony, hoping it will help some one, as I have been helped, on the upward path to Life, Truth, and Love.
