That God is "a very present help in trouble," and that Christian Science does heal when faithfully applied, I have positively proved; and I am indeed grateful for the loving care of our Father-Mother God.

Several years ago, while laboring under financial difficulties, I wrote to a dear Christian Science practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. Among other things I was told to study a certain beautiful hymm with the spiritual meaning which Christian Science sheds on the words. This I did; and the more I studied the more beautifully apparent did God's protecting love become, I knew that I could safely leave myself in His care. Needless to say, the problem was solved within a few days after treatment was asked for, and never since have I been troubled financially, lacked anything needful for my comfort and welfare, or doubted God's willingness and ability to help all those who trust in Him.

About two years ago a very dear relative was completely healed of a so-called incurable disease through Christian Science treatment. During this trial I learned what a large part obedience plays in the healing process. Two requests from the practitioner were blessed accordingly.
