I wish to add my testimony to those of many others,...

I wish to add my testimony to those of many others, to tell of the healing of inharmonious conditions through the application of Christian Science, and to express my gratitude therefor to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this Science, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to the Father-Mother God.

Through the study of the Bible, in connection with the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have found that God is infinite Mind. and that man is the expression or reflection of this Mind. This understanding, slight as it is, has enabled me to overcome temptation, and has healed me of cuts, burns, colds, and headaches. Fear and the suggestions of limitation are being destroyed by the realization that man, as the compound idea of infinite Mind, is perfect, eternal, and harmonious.

When a very young child I was placed in a Christian Science Sunday School; but through peculiar circumstances I drifted away from this influence, and at the age of ten years was using tobacco. After wandering in many parts of the world, I returned to my home almost in the condition of the prodigal son. Then I turned to Christian Science, and with the help of a practitioner was quickly healed of smoking, after having used cigarettes excessively for about fourteen years. Other bad habits were also overcome. I am grateful to state that this healing led me to membership in The Mother Church and a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and eventually to the advantage of class instruction, which is giving me stability and showing me how to apply intelligently the teachings of Christian Science. I wish further to express my appreciation of the good that is coming to me through being privileged to take part in the activities of a loyal branch church.—PAUL D. CRANDALL, District of Columbia.
