It is a privilege to have the opportunity of expressing our gratitude for the many healings our family has received through Christian Science. During the past eight years many ailments have been met and overcome by the study of the Bible in connection with the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; but where the case was chronic or acute we have had the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner.

About eight years ago our youngest son was healed of what the physicians had diagnosed as tuberculosis of the joints. He was six years old, and had not been able to stand on his feet for over a year. After the first treatment in Christian Science he was able to walk without assistance from his mother's lap to the practitioner, a distance of about four feet. He began to improve immediately, and within three months was playing ball and running races like his little comrades. He is now fifteen years old, robust and strong, attending school every day.

One year later, my wife had an attack of typhoid pneumonia. When complications set in we called a physician, to satisfy some members of the household. The physician stated that my wife would have to be operated on for tumor. At this juncture, though with much fear and trembling, we began to be willing to trust God implicitly. We called for Christian Science help again, and in a few weeks my wife was practically well, though it was two or three months before she regained her normal strength.
