Heralds of Christ

THE progress of the Christian Scientist is greatly aided if he continually keeps uppermost in his thought the divine purpose of the Christian Science movement.

Love's Way

There are two verses toward the close of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount which have grown in significance to at least one student of Christian Science.

Unfoldment

One of the many things which makes the study of Christian Science interesting is the way in which under its illumination the truths contained in the Bible are continually unfolding.

Music in Church Services

Throughout the Bible we find continual reference to the use of music in connection with the daily life of the people; and it is interesting to note that at that time, as in ours, they made use of it as a means of preparing thought for whatever was to be accomplished.
A dictionary defines shadows as "darkness, shade, obscurity, an unreal appearance.

I had been a helpless invalid for two years and had come to think of myself as being hopeless.
In the year 1912 I fell downstairs and broke my hip.
It is a privilege to have the opportunity of expressing our gratitude for the many healings our family has received through Christian Science.
I became interested in Christian Science through the healing of my husband, after physicians had pronounced his case incurable.
That the study of Christian Science has a healing and regenerating influence on mankind has been proved times without number in my family in the last five years.
I have been a student of Christian Science for about seven years, and have experienced and witnessed many healings through the application of this truth.
Some time ago I was suddenly struck down in the street by a runaway horse.
I was healed through Christian Science, about twelve years ago, of a condition from which the doctors had been unable to free me.
It would be impossible for me to mention the many blessing I have received since I have known of Christian Science.
Before taking up the study of Christian Science I did not have any desire to live, my whole consciousness seeming to be in a constant state of depression, and life, which I thought of then as being material, had no attractions for me; but after receiving just a slight understanding of Life as Spirit, the only reality, I wanted to live.
I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings which the study of Christian Science brings to me daily.
