The Lectures

The Hague, Holland (First Church).—Introducing John J. Flinn, a Christian Science lecturer, to his audience, Mrs. Helene Jansen spoke as follows:—

If ever, surely now, the world is in great need of a better understanding of the ever present, omnipotent God, who is Love,—in need of a religion which is not only a beautiful theory, but practical, demonstrable Science, whose laws are based on unchanging divine Principle. A former Christian Science lecturer at The Hague once said: "Not one here present will leave this hall the same as he came, for he shall have heard the Word of Truth, and that Word never returns void."

Huron, S. Dak. (Society).—The following remarks were made by Mrs. Mary Holton when introducing Peter V. Ross, a Christian Science lecturer, to his audience:—
