It was about seven years ago that Christian Science first came to my notice. I was then suffering from a cold, and coughed so much I could not sleep. I called on a doctor, and he said I had bronchitis. He treated me, but did not help me. A lady living next door asked me to try Christian Science; and I did so. As she was a Scientist she gave me treatment, and I was healed in about fifteen minutes. I did not cough that night, but had a good night's sleep; and in a little over a week I gained several pounds in weight. About a year after this healing I awoke one morning with a pain in my right side. It was so severe that I could not go to work. I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for help, and was healed with one treatment. I was also healed of a dizzy spell, and of pains in the breast and all through my body, by the same practitioner. Blood poisoning in my fingers and also in my leg has been overcome, and I have been freed from the drink and tobacco habits. I am very grateful to God for these healings, and to Mrs. Eddy for the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
