When I came to Christian Science, about six years ago, I was a sufferer from bronchial asthma. Countless medical remedies had been tried, but to no avail. I underwent an operation on the nose and throat, and was told that if this did not help I might outgrow it; but I grew worse as I grew older. I had had this condition since I was a baby, and it was considered hereditary. Finally, our family physician informed me there was no cure for this condition, but said if I would watch myself and see just what caused the attacks, I might prevent them. The more I looked to matter for help, the worse I grew. At last I turned to Christian Science, and learned that God is the only cause, and that He never caused anything but good. I gradually improved through Christian Science treatments; and during these treatments I was healed of many other complaints. When I more fully understood Mrs. Eddy's words in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 216), "If man is governed by the law of divine Mind, his body is in submission to everlasting Life and Truth and Love," I was healed.

The study of Christian Science is unfolding to me each day more and more of man's unity with God, and is freeing me from the bondage of fear. We have used no remedy in our home but Christian Science since we first started to study, and many wonderful healings have taken place. I am very grateful for class teaching, which has enabled me to bring about these healings. It has also taught me how to meet the daily problems of life, and is ever bringing peace, harmony, and health into our home.
