Everywhere are found despairing seekers who are hungering after the great peace which was proclaimed centuries ago in the words, "On earth peace, good will toward men;" but the many thousands who have found that peace through Christian Science are no more counted among the despairing and unhappy.

Mary Baker Eddy is the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Her writings, in connection with the Bible, are the only guide for every one who wants to practice this healing and saving teaching, which reveals the truth given to the whole world by Christ Jesus, and confirms its divine origin with "signs following." This teaching has been proved to bring peace and blessing wherever it is known; and there is scarcely a place in the world where may not be found contented and healthy people who owe to Christian Science their deliverance from sorrow and disease. When reading the testimonies which are found in the Christian Science periodicals, one cannot but note the great change which has taken effect in the lives of many people. Where once life was a heavy burden, perhaps without human or divine love to lighten its darkness, there is now health and peace never before experienced. One learns that God's blessings are abundant, and with Him there is no lack. Thousands who have had such experiences tell in humble gratitude that Christian Science has shown them how, here on earth, to enter into the "glorious liberty" of the sons of God. Through divine Love they have learned that only by perfect obedience can rest and peace be found, and thereby all pleasure in the ways of sin vanishes. Those who turn to the teaching of Christian Science in the right way will never feel disappointment. They will understand that through the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," they can find the spiritual interpretation of the Bible, which is our only guide to eternal Life, the living Word which enables them to obey all the Master's commands, and to gain the peace and joy for which all are hungering.
