Christian Science has entirely changed my outlook on life; it is setting me free mentally from false beliefs; and I am daily learning more about God, good, which brings a sense of joy and happiness I had no conception of before coming into Christian Science. Before this time my life seemed rather useless and aimless. A friend became interested in Christian Science, and lent me some of the periodicals; and I used sometimes to read in her copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; but I was most unwilling to find the truth in Christian Science, instead of in the church of which I was then a member. The little reading done, however, was healing my thought; and I came to see how unjust my attitude was, and decided to read Science and Health and at least be honest. In a very short time I came to know that Christian Science is the truth.

I can never express my gratitude for Christian Science in words, but I have found the truth which will free the world from sin and suffering, and I am experiencing a small measure of this myself. Only those who have the same experience can know what it means. I am beginning to realize a little of what Mrs. Eddy has done for all mankind in giving us the truth in this age, and in establishing The Mother Church with its Church Manual, meeting every need of orderly government. My wish is to prove my gratitude by being willing to give up a false sense of selfhood apart from God, and so demonstrate the truth in Christian Science.—(Miss) Evelyn Meller, Durban, Natal, South Africa.
