About sixteen years ago, while a young girl in Toronto, I had a bad fall while skating. The mastoid bone was badly injured and became carious; a discharge started and continued at intervals for fifteen years. During this time I visited England and was treated by one of the best specialists there, who told me that the trouble had become chronic and advised me to have an operation; however, I did not consent. I returned to America and settled in Cleveland, where I consulted two eminent specialists; they also advised an operation. Ultimately I underwent one. The trouble, however, continued as before, and at times I suffered excruciating pain. I had about despaired of obtaining permanent relief when I was led by a friend to Christian Science. I realized I was benefited during my first treatment, and came away imbued with hope. The improvement continued, and in less than six months I was thoroughly healed.

It goes without saying that I am most thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who made it possible for us to use the means of healing employed by Jesus almost two thousand years ago.—(Mrs.) Rae Curran, Cleveland, Ohio.
