Seven years ago I was led to see the great good to be derived from a better understanding of God as found in Christian Science. During this time there has been a most remarkable change in my consciousness. Having had an inclination to see the faults in others, and myself too, I am now affirming good and denying evil, almost unconsciously. Having a family of six children, we have given Christian Science a fair test, proving all along that it meets all our needs. My husband, though not a Scientist, has been relieved of chills and other discordant physical conditions through Christian Science treatment. Our demonstrations have been more than I can tell, but for my own healing I am most grateful. Being very fearful of the law of heredity i was its victim, and had not Christian Science come into my life, I feel that I could not have been healed.

Any one who may be seeking peace, happiness, and health, I would urge to make an effort to get a better understanding of God by making a study of Christian Science, which includes the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy. I am very thankful for this better understanding of God, for I know it is the "pearl of great price" that Jesus spoke of in one of his parables.—(Mrs.) Evie Pearson Baird, Rossville, Tenn.
