I gratefully add my testimony to the multitude already sent. Nearly five years ago I first learned what Christian Science is, and after reading Mrs. Eddy's book, Science and Health, about two weeks, was healed of indigestion from which I had suffered for several years. Since then I have been healed of extreme nervousness, of a great deal of fear, jealousy, resentment, and worry about the future, and as these things have gone my health has proportionately improved. My five children and I have not taken any kind of medicine in those years. At different times my children have been in close contact with whooping cough, measles, and chicken pox, without any bad results. For this protection, and for healings too numerous to mention, I am deeply grateful, but I am more grateful for the understanding I am gaining of God's ever presence, and of man's indissoluble union with Him. I am grateful for the periodicals, including The Christian Science Monitor, which was so instructive and comforting during the war, to the practitioners for help so lovingly given, and to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful courage in standing alone to give this wonderful truth to a weary world.—(Mrs.) A.
