In view of the words of our Leader on page vii of the Preface to Science and Health, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," I should like to express my gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me, since taking up the study of Christian Science. For several years it seemed as if I sought all the material help there was, getting little help, if any, even an operation giving but temporary relief. While very much in need of physical healing, I thought even if I could not get well, yet if I could only find God and know Him aright, this was all I was asking for. About six months before I found this beautiful truth, I had disposed of a lot of material means, longing only to find help from the real God. When I found Christian Science my healing was almost instantaneous. With the loving help of a practitioner I soon began to see and receive the wonderful good gifts God has for His children.

We have had many proofs of God's protecting care, one of which I would like to mention, which I am very grateful for,—an almost painless childbirth. I am grateful for the healings; but I am much more grateful for the spiritual understanding. I thank God, and also have gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has taught anew to the world this new-old religion, which Jesus taught many years ago.—(Mrs.) S. T. Wentz, Espanola, Wash.
