I have long had the intention of testifying to what Christian Science has done for me. I began to read Christian Science to see what it was, and after reading the Sentinel several months I left off my glasses. I had used them for nearly seventeen years, and I have not worn any glasses for over five years.

One day I slipped and fell, hurting my shoulder and arm so I could not undress myself, but in reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the Sentinel, and by knowing the truth, my shoulder and arm were healed in a short time. When my little girl was six weeks old I started down cellar to get some things for breakfast. I stepped too far and, missing the first step, I fell. One foot turned around and was under me when I fell, and when I got up I could not step on my foot. Knowing, however, that God is All-in-all and is ready to help in time of trouble, in five minutes' time I walked up the steps all right and was on my feet, working all day, and the next day I walked three miles and carried my baby. I have not had any trouble with that foot since and that is over three years ago. I did not know that my baby was cutting teeth till I saw four in her mouth. She was free from any trouble when she was cutting them. I have overcome other ailments by reading Science and Health, and I am grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and hope this testimony may help others.—Mrs. Lewis Gehring, Delta, Ohio.
