With heartfelt gratitude and joy for the blessings received through Christian Science I give this testimony. As I had always been greatly interested in the occult sciences I spent considerable time studying occultism, theosophy, and spiritualism, hoping finally to find the truth. Again and again I found, however, that it is impossible to solve world problems with the human mind. The study of so many different books had caused me to become confused, as I read many contradictory statements. This confused sense expressed itself on the body in restlessness, nervousness, and lack of self-control. I had lost my moral footing and felt as though I were a ball hovering between heaven and earth. I am unspeakably glad that I have been released from these false teachings through the study of Christian Science, and wish to warn every one not to have anything to do with such teachings.

Christian Science has also been of great help to me with musical work, and I am able to render greater assistance to my scholars in advancing their progress in this direction. The spiritual uplift I have experienced grows more wonderful each day. For the loving help received I am very grateful. I am thankful to God that I was enabled to find Christian Science, and I am also deeply grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
