It is with gratitude to God that I give this testimony. Christian Science was presented to me by a friend who was engaged with me in Sunday school work, and who called to my attention the healing done by Christ Jesus. She gave me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy to read, and I prepared myself with paper and pencil to refute that with which I did not agree. Soon, however, paper and pencil were laid aside and it was in humility and love that the reading was continued. I was completely healed of nervous prostration, neuralgia, severe headaches, throat trouble, stomach disorder, and other physical ills simply through the inspiration of Truth gained by reading the textbook. At that time I knew no student of Christian Science and had no knowledge that there were any practitioners.

Since then my daughter has never tasted medicine, and has been in good health with the exception of small difficulties that have been quickly overcome in Christian Science. A son was healed when he was, to sense, breathing his last. I am more thankful than I can tell for the grand discovery that the teachings of Jesus are applicable to all conditions, at all times, and to all people through Christian Science. I have unbounded gratitude for the assistance derived from the periodicals and various activities of the movement.
