About nine years ago Christian Science found me seriously ill and without hope. The doctors had operated and then given me up to die. It was at this time that a Christian Science practitioner was called to my bedside. I received help at once, and was so grateful that I immediately took up the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and was healed. As I studied the Scriptures in this way I came to love my neighbors more. I have been sustained through the greatest sorrow, because of the loss of my husband, which I could not have overcome if I had not had the truth, which gave me courage and fortitude and added strength to meet obligations that I never could have met otherwise. It helps me daily to overcome the sense of separation and limitation. Christian Science becomes clearer to me each day, and I have more love and gratitude in my heart for our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and for the blessings that have come to me through this study and that are coming to others.
