Christian Science was first brought to my notice in January, 1916. I saw at once that it was far in advance of anything I had previously learned and commenced the study of it. About a year later I experienced what to me seemed a most remarkable healing. For several days I had been feeling ill; next I realized that my hearing had gone, also my eyes were failing me. I seemed to be losing ground very rapidly, so telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner. About ten minutes later relief came, although it was six weeks before I regained my hearing. To me this was a remarkable healing. I was able to continue my work as usual. Heart disease and several other physical inharmonies have yielded to the truth and I am grateful for these healings, but realize that they are nothing compared to that larger understanding of our relation to God revealed through our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mrs. Eddy. The Bible is indeed like a new book to me.

I am thankful to God and to Christ Jesus, the Wayshower, and grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy; also for all the blessings that accompany this teaching, for our monthly, weekly, and daily literature, our church services and reading rooms, and the loving help of practitioners, I am grateful.
