Boston, Mass. (The Mother Church).—Charles I. Ohrenstein, lecturer; introduced by William D. McCrackan, who said in part:—

The Mother Church of Christian Science invites you to take shelter from the storm of conflicting opinions. The Mother Church is the custodian for this age of the truth wherein alone is salvation for all mankind. She offers to you the herald of Truth, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which she invites you to read in connection with the Bible of our fathers. These two are her only preachers and the two witnesses of Scripture.

The Mother Church opens her wings to all mankind, and these wings belong not only to the dove of peace, but also to the eagle soaring into exalted heights through spiritual understanding. Therefore Christian Science brings to this age both inspiration and demonstration. With the keenness of its vision it detects, uncovers, and destroys error, and with its divine compassion it saves, heals, cherishes, protects, and rewards. Our beloved Leader has said, "On one side there will be discord and dismay; on the other side there will be Science and peace" (Science and Health, p. 96).
