This testimony is sent as a slight expression of gratitude for the help I have received from Christian Science. My first healing was that of a bad cold which came upon me in the night. The attack was very acute and in the nature of croup. I could hardly breathe, or talk audibly. A Christian Science practitioner gave me absent treatment and I was relieved at once. I went to sleep and suffered from the cold no more. Chronic stomach trouble of years' standing has been driven away by the power of Truth, and an injury that assumed all the appearances of blood-poisoning was cured overnight.

Recently I lost my footing and fell backward down a basement stairway of ten steps, striking on my head and shoulders. My daughter-in-law heard me fall and feared I had been killed, as I am over seventy-seven years of age, but I realized while falling that God is all powerful, and centered my thought upon that great fact. Within ten minutes I was at my work as though nothing had happened. I was indeed very grateful for this wonderful example of God's power, and even more so for the spiritual uplift that came at that time. I have learned by ample experience that God is omnipotent, and thank Him with all my being for His goodness in leading me to this wonderful realization through the presentation of the truth by our great Leader and her wonderful book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
