Our baby, who is nearly two years old, has been helped many times through Christian Science treatment, and we have never had any other help for him when he has been ill. When he was about a year old I stepped on one of his fingers and crushed it so that the nail was torn off. After wrapping the finger up I telephoned to a practitioner for help, and in a few minutes the crying ceased and the little one fell asleep. The next morning the finger was not sore or inflamed, and in less than a week the nail had grown out. To look at it one would not know that the finger had been hurt.

When this baby was about sixteen months old I neglected to put away the can of lye after using it, and he came screaming to me, for he had put some of the contents to his mouth. I again telephoned to the practitioner and asked for treatment. This was about two o'clock in the afternoon. The child's lips had swollen a good deal and his tongue was twice its natural size, but he stopped crying in a little while. That night the swelling had all gone down and by the next night the healing was complete. This was a remarkable healing, as there was much fear manifested by other members of the family. I am most grateful for Christian Science.
