My desire is to express my thanks for what Christian Science is doing for me. When it first came to my attention I was in the East. A cousin in Boston was a loyal Scientist, and I became interested to know about her religion. She gave me the Sentinel and the Journal to read, and they told so much about "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that I wanted to read the book. After a few days of reading the literature I was given the text-book, and as I read hour after hour, hungry and thirsty for what the book gave me, the spiritual uplift which I received was wonderful. I saw at once that Christian Science is Jesus' teaching, and words cannot express half of the good it has been to me in the past fourteen years.

I did not know that I needed healing, but found I did need to be healed of many things. Headaches that would keep me in bed a week or two have been overcome, also rheumatism, colds, and a tendency to criticize. Sometimes there is a slight headache, but I never have to go to bed on account of it. Christian Science has taught me to think right and to see others as God's children, hence perfect. It has brought to me joy, happiness, and peace.

For all the Christian Science literature I am grateful. The Monitor is an ideal daily newspaper; the Christian Science article on the Home Forum page is to me daily spiritual food. I am thankful for having had the privilege of class instruction, and for the ability to help others on the road to Truth. I give all my periodicals to help others, and am watching and praying that I may show my gratitude by letting my light so shine before men that they may see my good works and glorify the Father for all His benefits to mankind.—Emma A. Miller, Piedmont, Cal.
