It is with deep gratitude that I tell of the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. I was a delicate girl, and after my marriage I had a severe attack of acute lung trouble which left me an invalid. Later asthma was added, and this was the reason for my coming into Science. My sister had greatly benefited by this teaching, and I was persuaded, when staying with her, to go to the Wednesday evening meetings. There I heard such wonderful testimonies, and the people looked so happy, that I determined to see if anything could be done for me, as I was a most miserable and unhappy woman. I thank God very truly for leading me to take this step, and only wish that Christian Science had been shown to me years before.

I sought a practitioner, and never shall I forget the wonderful sense of joy which filled my being as I left her. To think that there was hope for me, who had long thought of myself as a hopeless invalid! I bought a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and soon began to feel better, though my healing has been slow. I am now able to do many times as much work as formerly and am no longer an invalid. I have also been cured of a cough of many years' standing. More than all is the wonderful spiritual uplift, and the help Christian Science gives in gaining an understanding of the Bible.
