Christian Science came to me at a time when I was suffering from a sense of fear and depression that made life miserable. Sleeplessness, loss of flesh, and great irritability were some of the effects of this condition, and I was a burden to myself and my friends. The good results manifested by those who had devoted themselves to the study of Christian Science, led me to investigate it, and with the help of a practitioner and the study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings equally good results were soon realized in my own case. Sleeplessness was overcome, I regained my normal weight, and the sense of fear and depression was greatly relieved. The liquor, tobacco, and profanity habits, which I had acquired when a boy, left me without a realization of the time when I became free. A badly poisoned foot, an acute bowel trouble, and other painful conditions have likewise been quickly overcome.

For these blessings I am very grateful; but the realization that comes from the constant study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," namely, that God is an ever present help at all times, is the greatest blessing, and for this 'I am most grateful.
