It is a duty that I owe to God, also to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to acknowledge some of the many blessings that have come to me and mine through the teachings of Christian Science. About fourteen years ago my husband was healed in two weeks' treatment of an ear trouble of about eighteen years' standing, which some of the best ear specialists in Milwaukee and Chicago could not cure. Through this wonderful healing other ailments left him, among them rheumatism, and he was able to give up wearing glasses.

All this made me very happy, so I began to study Science and Health, and was healed in a very short time of chronic bowel disorder. Several years ago I was suddenly stricken with what is called diphtheria, in its worst form, but through the help of a practitioner I was up and out for a walk in four days. For this healing, and for the many blessings that have been ours as a result of the loving and untiring work of Mrs. Eddy in bringing us nearer to our heavenly Father, I am so deeply grateful that words are inadequate to express my feelings.—Mary W. Becker, Chicago, Ill.

It is with a sense of deep gratitude that I verify the above statement by my wife, and add that I share her happiness. The healing of the ear was such a wonderful revelation of the truth that it took some time for me to grasp the full meaning of this great healing power.—Louis W. Becker.
