For over ten years I suffered constantly from a complication of diseases, among them chronic bowel disorder, headache, female trouble, and rectal trouble in its worst form. during these years I had treatment from the best physicians in Chicago, took trips to Colorado Springs and California, but continued to grow worse. I was in such a weakened condition that I could not walk a block withou pain and complete exhaustion.

One day, when I felt more depressed than ever and utterly discouraged, the thought came to me that a lady I used to know as a semi-invalid had been healed through Christian Science. I immediately called her over the telephone, and in answer to my question as to whether she thought Christian Science could help me, she gave me the name of a practitioner, who on being called consented to give me treatment at once. I had little hope of receiving any benefit, but to my joy and amazement my condition began to improve after the first treatment. In four days I was able to walk to the home of the practitioner, a distance of six blocks, without any discomfort. The improvement continued, and to-day my health is perfect. This healing took place nearly five years ago, and there has been no return of former ailments.

I wish to add that my mother, who lives with me, started to read Science and Health at the same time, and was healed of periodical sick headaches, which at times lasted fortyeight hours and were growing worse. She had suffered from these for fifty years. We have had many other healings in our home, and needless to say Truth is our remedy for every ill. Words cannot express my thankfulness to God, or my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful healing truth.
