From Our Exchanges

[The Methodist Recorder]

The promise is to those who gatehr together. There is no solitariness in spiritual life. Those who believe must identify themselves with believers. The world is discovering the power of association upon mind and heart: there is a corporate consciousness, and there are blessings that come only to those who seek the fellowship of those like-minded. There is a privilege of communion and an obligation of fellowship. It is not possible to be loyal to Christ and despise those who gather in his name.
