I wish especially to give thanks for the Christian Science literature. In an article on the Home Forum page of the Monitor one day the statement was made that health is an eternal characteristic of all that God creates, and is an established fact of eternity. In dwelling upon this statement and trying to realize its spiritual meaning, I was healed of what a doctor had pronounced a malignant growth. It is impossible for me to express in words my gratitude for the many other healings I have had physically, morally, and mentally. Chronic throat trouble disappeared after a few months' reading of Science and Health.

We can best show our thankfulness to God and our gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, by living in obedience to our highest understanding of God's law, and by giving "a cup of cold water in Christ's name" (Science and Health, p. 570) to those ready for the blessing.
