After having kept silent so long, I feel impelled to testify...
After having kept silent so long, I feel impelled to testify to the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science. In 1912 I became afflicted with a serious bladder trouble, and upon the physician's advice submitted to an operation. I had great expectations of being completely restored, but my hopes were not realized, for after I took up my work again the ailment returned, and this made me feel very despondent. I went back to the physician to be treated, but when after four months I did not experience any benefit, I stopped going to him, and having known of Christian Science for quite a while, took up its study in all earnestness. As a result I was healed of the illness in a short time.
I am very grateful for all the benefits which our heavenly Father has bestowed upon me, and my sincere desire is to be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist. I also think of Mrs. Eddy with love and gratitude for the great work which she has accomplished for humanity. I would like to add that through Christian Science my little son has been healed of an eye trouble within a short time. Frau Helena K. Zimmer, Sebewaing, Mich.
