To me Christian Science means everything that signfies good. My first experience with it was the healing of rheumatism. This ailment, which had made me a cripple at ten years of age, had baffled the best medical advice obtainable for many years and at times had rendered me helpless. Under Christian Science treatment I was healed in a day, and in a few days all manifestations of the trouble had dissappeared. My second experience was the healing of an illness which the physicians, after a through examination, pronounced either gall-stones or Bright's disease. I called on a Christian Science practitioner next morning for not over thirty minutes, and have never had a return of those terrible attacks since. Each of these healings was realized in one treatment and attacks practically instantaneous.

More recently I again had a severe tussle with error, manifested in a very painful form, of which an accorded authority in medical practice said at a time of physical helplessness and great suffering, "No doctor on earth can heal him; it is incurable." He doubtless told the truth so far as he knew it, but as was proven, his knowledge of Truth and its power was limited. Thanks to the fidelity of the practitioner and the members of my own family, I was again restored to health and strength through Christian Science, The manifestations of this illness were a hardening and stiffening of the joints.

It would be impossible to express my thankfulness to God for Christian Science, or my gratitude to the Wayshower. I am also very thankful to Mrs. Eddy for what understanding I have gained of its present adaptability to our every need, as well as for the many benefits and blessings which have been received by members of my family and myself.
