Having experienced many wonderful demonstrations both physically and mentally, I feel very grateful for Christian Science. A number of years ago I was healed of a spinal trouble, but the healing did not bring me to a realizing sense of the omnipotence and ever-presence of divine Love. In course of time I had a severe nervous breakdown, and was again brought out of darkness by Christian Science. Four years afterward I was stricken with what would be called appendicitis and a complication of diseases in a very serious form. Under materia medica an operation would have been imperative, but I am happy to say that Christian Science was my only help. I have also been healed of almost constant headaches. Jesus' words, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," were surely proven true in my case.

Words cannot express my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, also to the faithful workers who so patiently labored to help me back to health and a better understanding of God. I feel very grateful for all these blessings.
