I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings received in our home through Christian Science, as we have been greatly helped physically, mentally, morally, financially, and above all spiritually. About six and a half years ago I came to Christian Science when in sore need of it for physical and nervous troubles and when laboring under a great sense of sorrow. I had been under a doctor's care or some form of treatment the greater part of my life, being considered delicate, but thanks to Christian Science I was healed after taking a few treatments and reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, together with other Christian Science literature.

We are a family of six, and Christian Science has met our every need in the years we have relied on it. We have had many demonstrations of physical healing; colds, throat affection, bronchitis, inflamed eyes, measles, blood-poisoning, and many other ailments have been overcome. These healings have meant much to me. One case was that of my youngest child, then not quite two years old. Sores began to break out on his face and other parts of the body, and evey little scratch or speck of dirt caused inflammation. One nostril was closed, and the stomach and bowels became so disturbed that he could not retain any food. I tried to treat him as best I knew how, but finally called on a practitioner for help. Almost immediately the condition of the stomach and bowels improved and in a day or two this trouble had been overcome, but the sores were very slow in healing. Then the thought came to me very forcibly to treat him for stoppage or obstruction, and I did so for several days. One morning a stick three quarters of an inch long came out of his nose, and from the conditon of the stick I knew what had seemingly caused the blood-poisoning. The healing was very rapid after this.

To mortal sense this seemed a wonderful demonstration, as it proved to me the truth of Jesus' words, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," as step by step the error was uncovered and destroyed.
