I write this testimony in loving gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. On one occasion I awoke in the morning feeling unable to do my work. I am a nurse to young children, and at this time was taking care of a little boy of three. As his mother was away and I did not feel that there was any one with whom I could leave him, a sense of fear came over me. With difficulty I dressed my self and the child, and then, taking up my copy of Science and Health I sat down and treated myself. Instantly all fear left; in five minutes I was perfectly well, and rose joyfully to take up the day's work which a few minutes before had seemed impossible. At another time I was threatened with what seemed to be heart trouble. I felt weak and ill, and suffered a good deal of pain. With the help of a practitioner, however, this difficulty was entirely overcome in a few weeks.

In my work with children I can never be grateful enough for Christian Science, and I wish that all those who have the care of little children could know of this saving truth. Not only does it help one to understand how to overcome childish ailments, but the little lessons of every-day life are so simply learned and are made so easy by the understanding of what God really is, — Love.

The Christian Science literature is a great help. My heart is full of thankfulness to God for all the blessings I have received, and I am deeply grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us that Christianity is demonstrable in every age.—Gertrude Sinnock, Bristol, England.
