I was always considered delicate, but had no thought that the Christ-healing was for me. I first sought to know the truth; in other words, whether Christian Science was the Comforter promised so long ago by the Master. I began to attend the Sunday services, and these appealed to me as being the worship of God "in spirit and in truth." Next I took up the study of the Lesson-Sermons, and very soon glasses that I had worn for years were laid aside; also, although unnoticed at the time, other ailments disappeared. Last July I entered upon my eighty-first year of human life. I am active, enjoy walking out, and in the home duties do my part, can sew, make crochet lace, and am never idle for any length of time. I read the Sentinel, Journal, and Monitor by daylight or by lamplight,—all this without having to turn to glasses.

I hope this testimony may encourage some struggling sister or brother on the straight and narrow way by showing what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. For these demonstrations of Truth's power, and all other blessings, I am truly thankful, and with the psalmist would say, "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"
