I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. It is over three years since a knowledge of the truth, as revealed in our text-book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, first came to me. I was restored through its treatment after doctors had given me up, and as I was unconscious at the time, I had to wait to prove the Principle for myself, so that I could understand how it was done.

Christian Science means so much to me that there are no words with which to give expression to my thanks. I have had and still have somewhat of family opposition to meet, as we were of the Jewish faith, and these dear ones find it hard to accept Science on account of the word "Christian." Many will not even look into it, but that has not prevented me from proving the truth of it. I have been through mental conflicts so great that I put the books away many times in despair, but after severe and bitter suffering, I was gently led to the light. No amount of worldly treasure could pay for the clear understanding and wonderful spiritual uplifting that has come to me through the study of the Bible and Science and Health. I have prayed so much to be enabled to hold fast to this blessed truth and not be influenced to turn away even by dear ones!

Since my first healing I have received further proofs of God's loving care for His children. The way has opened for me to see more clearly the guidance of divine Love in my daily life. I know that the application of the Principle of Christian Science, applied so far as we understand it, does bring us into harmony with God's universe, and fleeting mortal thoughts have lost their power to make me afraid. Christian Science has cured all my ills and has set my thoughts in the right direction, toward God instead of away from Him. I have proof of this in greater peace of mind and a more prosperous way of living; all my needs being met without worry. I am more and more grateful for the light thrown upon the Scriptures by the teachings of Science and Health. I am grateful to God for placing this book within reach of all who seek relief from ills of any kind. All doubts and fears are now at rest, and I can obey the Principle of our ancient faith better by knowing that God is Mind, Life, Truth, and Love, and by having no other gods.
