After suffering for almost two years with what physicians pronounced organic heart trouble and a chronic stomach affection, and having tried materia medica to such an extent that I despaired of getting well or finding relief through that source, I went to a Christian Science practitioner. I was led to do this by friends who were at that time little interested in it, but who had known of an acquaintance of theirs having been healed. I had heard very little regarding this mode of healing, and having nursed in a hospital I was very skeptical, and perhaps more so than those who did not have similar obstacles to overcome, but my first treatment convinced me that I was on the right path. I continued with the treatments for a comparatively short time and was entirely healed. My healing was not instantaneous, but it led me to that wonderful truth which makes free.

Words but feebly express my gratitude to God for the help received. Only by living more and more as a Christian Scientist, every day and hour, do I feel that I can in a way repay our dear Leader for her labors, which are glorifying God.—H. J. Mandel, San Francisco, Cal.
