Within the last three years I have found in Christian Science, as stated in Science and Health, the answer to Pilate's question, "What is truth?" It is this: that God, Mind, is the only substance; and that the human mind and body are one, consequently the state of the body is determined by the mental state. Basing thought on this truth, I have been healed without any treatment of kidney, bladder, and other ailments, which were so serious as to require an operation in the opinion of reputable physicians. With the help of one treatment from a friend, I was also healed of periodical headaches and eye trouble of seventeen years' standing, during which time I wore glasses fitted by a specialist who said I would always have to use them; but all difficulty has disappeared and I have used no glasses for over two years. With occasional help I am now overcoming a catarrhal difficulty involving the senses of smell and hearing. I send this testimony in grateful appreciation of the truth.—Mrs. Jessie Crowe, Janesville, Minn.
