For a long time I have felt that I should publicly express my gratitude for the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science. During the last year and a half I have had to pass through deep waters, and it has been proven to me beyond the shadow of a doubt that God is indeed "a very present help" in time of trouble, and that Christian Science is the voice of Truth,—a revelation of God to this age. I have been healed of a sense of sorrow that was breaking my heart, of severe nervous trouble, sleeplessness, and stomach trouble, and an abnormal fear of death, brought on by the sudden passing of one very dear to me; but when another passed away suddenly a year and a half ago, I found Christian Science a great comfort and help, and my support and stay in every way. I am indeed grateful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped in any way to bring me a knowledge of this saving Truth.

I cannot close my testimony without a word of gratitude for the Bible, for the Christian Science literature, our invaluable text-book and Mrs. Eddy's other writings, also the periodicals. We are indeed blessed in having such helps in our daily struggle to be good and to do good. The constant cry of my heart is for a better understanding of this truth and the ability to help others.
