Universal
testimony concerning Christian Science is summed up in a remark recently made by an old friend who is not a Scientist to one who is: "You look younger than you did twenty years ago.
As the tyro in Christian Science imbibes the milk of the Word he finds its sweetness divine and frequently becomes as impetuous as the dust-stained traveler who emerges from a dreary desert to revel rapturously in the cool brooks of the forest.

"Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the text-book of Christian Science, takes as its fundamental proposition the omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience of God, as taught by Jesus the Christ, who working from this very basis healed the sick and the sinning more successfully and more certainly than any method of healing that has ever yet been, or ever will be, presented to mankind.
Many
of those who have since become Christian Scientists were much surprised when they first attended a Christian Science church service, to find there was neither personal preacher nor sermon, in the common acceptance of those terms.
Every
intelligent person has some sense of the significance of testimony to our asserted knowledge of the past, and to our judicial attitude toward men and movements to-day.
In
the prophecy of Isaiah we read these beautiful words: "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

One afternoon during a recent epidemic of eye trouble in this city, one of my eyes began to be inflamed, and by evening it was manifesting such distressing and painful symptoms that I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for help, not forgetting, however, that there was work for me also to do.
I am very glad to make public acknowledgment of the benefits I have received in Christian Science, in the hope that some one else may be led to the knowledge of the truth.
