My heart is filled with gratitude for the help and many blessings that Christian Science brings to me each day. For years I had been in poor health. I consulted six different doctors, took a course of treatment from each, but did not improve. Friends advised me to try different remedies, which I did until I was convinced that there was no help in medicine for me.

I was wondering what to do next, for all my efforts seemed in vain, when a friend advised me to try Christian Science. I did so, and called in a practitioner. During his first visit the words that impressed me mostly were his advice to take no thought for the body; to trust God and give up medicine. I seemed to hear those words long after he left, and that night, when I looked at the medicine I had been taking each night before retiring, I still seemed to hear those words. I gave up medicine, and from that night I began to improve. Now I eat anything I want to, rest well at night, and work is not a burden.

I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and each day it gives me a better understanding of God, each day it helps me to know more about Truth. As I continue to read and understand, I can feel the bonds breaking away one by one that seemed to hold me so long. I feel so free, and am very thankful that God has given us through our beloved Leader the truth which has made the way so plain that even a child can understand.—Mrs. Cora Stockton, Dayton, Ohio.
