It is with a grateful heart that I wish to tell of the blessings which have come to us through Christian Science. In the latter part of 1909 I had a severe attack of kidney trouble, and several physicians who examined me prescribed a strict milk diet, which I observed for about half a year, when a dear relative told me of Christian Science, and a few copies of the Herold were handed to me. I read them diligently, and also began to attend the services and meetings of the local church. I soon felt a sense of trust regarding Christian Science, and asked a practitioner to take up treatment, which she did at once. In about six week's time my trouble had completely disappeared. After the first treatment I did not diet any longer and was able to eat any kind of food without experiencing pain, as I had before. Another ailment of years' standing, which I had not mentioned to the practitioner, has not returned since I took treatment.

My husband too has experienced the power of Truth. He injured his arm in falling, so that it was swollen and became quite stiff, while the pain was almost unbearable; but with one day's treatment in Christian Science he was able to move and use his arm without pain. In the same way he was healed later on of a severe attack of liver trouble within an hour. For these and several other benefits which we have experienced through Christian Science, I wish to express our sincerest gratitude. We now look with full confidence into the future, for we know that God, good, is the only power.
