Christian Science has done so much for me and my family that I can no longer withhold acknowledgment of my gratitude for it. Through the study of the Bible, in connection with our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have gained an understanding of Life and knowledge of God as ever-present Love, which is everything to me. It teaches me the nothingness of that enemy fear, and how it may be trampled upon. Through firm reliance upon Truth at childbirth, I found that every material law can be met and mastered and harmony prevail, and that the seeming discords of childhood can be dispelled and reduced to nothingness.

I am especially grateful for the knowledge that man as God's image and likeness expresses perfection, and that the varied dispositions of mortal mind do not belong to God's child. This means much to me in the daily care of my children. It is my sincere desire to live up to my highest understanding of Truth, that each day I may be fitted to receive more of that spiritual understanding which overcomes sin and sickness here and now. Only by so doing can I render proper thanks to God, and to our beloved Leader.—Nellie Heald Nute, Littleton, N. H.
