I consider it a great privilege to be able to testify to the beautiful healing work that has been done for me in Christian Science. I was wonderfully helped at the birth of my little daughter, who is now three and a half years of age. An abscess in the baby's ear, which caused great fear among those in the family who did not understand the power of Christian Science, was very quickly overcome, and not only in the overcoming of physical ills have we been wonderfully helped and sustained, but in other respects as well. When the way seemed very dark financially, we asked for help, and it has been always most lovingly given and the difficulty quickly overcome. A great sorrow came to us recently, but death seemed to me, as the Master taught, absolutely unreal. The greatest sense of peace and comfort was with us all, and we realized that the everlasting arms were around us. I had declared many, many times the unreality of death, but never seemed to gain a clear understanding of it until the moment when everything seemed darkest. Then the beautiful light of Truth and Love was shining all the while, and the veil seemed to be lifted from my eyes. I had such a spiritual uplifting as I had never dreamed possible. For all these, and many other beautiful demonstrations, we give praise to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
