It is with a deep sense of gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me that I give my testimony. It is a little over two years since Christian Science was brought to my attention. I needed it years before, but did not realize it then. I was instantly healed of a chronic stomach disorder, and while reading Science and Health my eyes were healed and glasses that I had worn for ten years were laid aside. The oculist had told me that I would always have to wear glasses, as I had strained my eyes very badly. The next ill to go was hay-fever, of long standing. I had suffered agonies with this trouble, and had tried many doctors, who held out absolutely no hope of my ever being free from it; but now I can say to other sufferers, Take courage, and not only believe but know that there is absolute help for you; that God is omnipotent good. Severe headaches, from which I had suffered since a small child, were slower in yielding because of fear, but it has been a long time since I have had one, which is a great blessing.

My little girl, three years old, was healed of acute lung trouble by absent treatment. She was to mortal sense a very sick child, and her healing seemed wonderful to me, as not one drop of medicine was used. She is now five years old and attends Sunday School. She loves to go, and often asks me to read Science and Health to her. Is it any wonder that we both love God, and that my heart feels the deepest gratitude to dear Mrs. Eddy for all the benefits and blessings received?

I am daily striving to overcome faults and thoughts that are not right, but I know that as I prove faithful, and as I hopefully take up my cross and realize more and more the presence of Christ, Truth, I shall indeed be free. The desire is very strong within me to help others and to spread this blessed truth broadcast. The Sentinel is a great help to me.
