Before I learned of Christian Science I was very miserable with female troubles, at times suffering terribly. I had taken almost all kinds of medicines that were recommended for these ailments, without any permanent relief; but, thanks to Christian Science, I did get relief without resorting to any material means. When Science and Health was loaned to me by a friend, I was ready for it. I never doubted its truth at all, and was soon healed of my ailments by reading it.

It is twelve years since I first knew about Christian Science. During that time it has not all been smooth sailing, but Truth has always conquered in the degree that I have clung to its teachings. I have had treatment several times, and the practitioner was very patient in trying to get me to see the right way. After having suffered so many years, I am indeed grateful, and wish to add that Christian Science has not only benefited me physically, but mentally as well. No one could help but feel better after reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs Eddy, and no money would buy my book if I could not get another copy. My mother also has been greatly helped by reading Christian Science literature. She is almost seventy-four years old and is in perfect health. I am grateful for all the help and encouragement I have had in many ways.

Words cannot express my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, through whose loving guidance the way has been made so plain. I can only show my dep gratitude by consecrating myself to God and striving each day to live nearer and follow closer the truth, and to let that Mind be in me which was also in Christ Jesus.
