From early childhood I was in bondage to headaches and nervousness, and although many remedies were tried, there was no permanent relief. This condition rapidly grew worse, until in 1905, while in the sophomore class of the high school, a noted physician told me that I must give up all hope for further education; that I must leave school at once, as a complete change and rest was necessary. I was suffering from violent headaches, frequent attacks of fainting, a throat trouble for which there had been two operations, and various other forms of ill health.

While visiting a friend whom I had not seen for some time, and who had been wonderfully helped by Christian Science, I witnessed the healing of her baby. This friend saw my need of help, and took me to a practitioner for treatment. I was greatly benefited by the first treatment, and was soon perfectly and completely healed. Today I am well and strong, have been enabled to continue my studies at school and later to take a business position, and I am more happy than I have ever been. In May, 1908, following a business panic, when I was well able and qualified to work, there seemed to be no place for me, but with help in Christian Science a business position was obtained. For these demonstrations of divine Love, as revealed in Christian Science, I am truly grateful.
