God changes not; therefore such works as the Master did...

Newark (N.J.) Star

God changes not; therefore such works as the Master did will be found possible today, when Christians unite in a practical faith in God. Christian Science does not count its strength numerically. The primitive Christians were few in numbers, yet their power for good is inestimable and is still at work in human consciousness. Christian Science is not a fad, and we venture to prophesy will not pass away as our critic thinks, neither will true Scientists be other than Christian Scientists, for if one catches a glimpse of the truth it would be just as hard for a Christian Scientist to leave Christian Science as it would be for a mathematician to declare the principle of mathematics null and void. Moreover, Christian Science is not dependent upon human opinion, but will stand because it is the Science of Truth and cannot pass away.
