Christian Science has done much for me, and I wish to express my gratitude to God, and to the woman who has given to the world this understanding of the Scriptures, which did not mean much to me before I became acquainted with this teaching. Christian Science is helping me to overcome some very grave faults, which I had always wanted to escape from, but did not know how to go about it. I am very grateful for the Wednesday evening and Sunday services.

I want to speak of a demonstration I made when first coming into Christian Science. I was eating lunch at a restaurant and a fish bone became lodged in my throat. It was very painful and I immediately began to think of several similar accidents of which I had heard. I also feared to cause a sensation around me. Then I realized that divine Love was with me, and that the bone had no power to hurt me. When my fear was overcome, the trouble vanished at once, and I cannot tell of the grateful feeling I had for even the little understanding I had at the time. I am truly thankful for living in an age in which we can learn more and more of God and spiritual law.
